Context
Facebook's data download is often several gigabytes and contains years of messages, photos, location history, ad interactions, facial recognition data, and inferred interests. Reviewing this data is eye-opening—it shows exactly why targeted ads feel so accurate and why breaches are so damaging.
The average Facebook data export is 2GB+ and contains every message, photo, and ad interaction from years of use.
