Automated Decision-Making (Art. 22)

How automated decisions are made and your right to human review

1 min read Updated June 9, 2026

Under Article 22 of the GDPR, you have the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects or similarly significantly affect you.

How CUEBES Uses Automation

CUEBES uses automated systems in the following ways:

Content Moderation

We use automated tools to detect potential policy violations (spam, harmful content). All automated decisions are subject to human review. If your content is moderated, you have the right to appeal through the DSA appeal process.

Feed Ranking

Content in your feed is ordered by an algorithm that considers recency, engagement, and your interests. This is not a decision that has legal or significant effects. Learn more in Algorithm Transparency.

Rate Limiting

Automated rate limiting prevents abuse by restricting the number of actions per time period. This protects all users and the platform.

Your Rights

  • No decision with legal or similarly significant effects is made solely by automation
  • You can always request human review of any automated decision
  • You can appeal content moderation decisions via the DSA appeal process
